Welcome to Wildflower Camp Foundation

WCF has grown out of the experience of one family in dealing with the loss of a parent and the subsequent years of recovery. The mission of the foundation is to provide scholarship assistance for summer camp and enrichment programs to families in which a parent has died. It is our belief that this opportunity can provide a restorative experience both for the children and surviving spouse in recovering from what is a very difficult and challenging life crisis.

To learn more about the inspiration to form the foundation and our family’s personal experience, please visit the Inspiration page. The foundation has been pleased to provide scholarships to many deserving families in the Boston area since our inception in 2004. For more information about Wildflower, view our 2007 Annual Newsletter or visit our History page.

We invite you to support our efforts with a financial contribution. The more money we raise, the more families we can help. Please visit Contributions to learn about the various ways to donate or just click below to make a donation online.

WCF seeks volunteers who are interested in donating their time and ideas. To become involved, please contact us.

Thank you in advance for helping us to provide the gift of camp to bereaved children and parents in need.

"I would like to thank the foundation for the kindness and generosity that has been extended to my family. For the first time in two years, my son has shown such excitement. He has been telling everyone he can about all the things he will be doing at camp. I think this has given us all hope that not only can we go on but perhaps my children can once again enjoy life."
